Kusunoki Clean Village operates an agricultural business and self-sufficiency in the mountains of western Japan. When you live in Kusunoki, the elderly in the surrounding area will teach you all the skills and wisdom. Thanks to that, only five staffs are living while growing vegetables, rice, tea, fruit trees, mushrooms, raising chickens, making processed goods, selling and managing events. Originally a tea garden, it is full of cherry blossoms, sansho, serrata, cedar, cypress, bamboo and many other plants. It is a rich resource that supports our lives. It's a place where you can do anything, though there's no city-like entertainment. We believe this lifestyle become alternative way in a high-risk society.
