Nepal, A small developing nation in between the world powerhouses China and India, is mostly known for being trekker’s paradise as the nation is not only the home to the world’s highest mountain Mt. Everest but also because most of its territory is occupied by the world’s most imposing natural and historical resources. But there’s so much more in the nation as it is multi-ethnic, multilingual, multi-religious and multicultural as well. Nepal as a nation though still has a long way to go in terms of development and eradicating problems that lie within. We welcome you to the capital of Kathmandu valley. We talk about our small community group in Kathmandu located in the central region of the hilly area and is the capital city of Nepal. Here in the outskirt, we have some programs in our group of women who are from diverse ethnic groups living around the community working as producers of handicrafts. The scenic beauty of mountains in the hills where people can witness the warmth of the Himalayas, the generation of people using natural herbs, and its traditional uses which is slowly fading away where we look to revive its uses. We support women empowerment so we focus to train our women in possible ways. We welcome with joining our hands bowing down as a greeting to welcome you to “Relax in the Himalayas” and get the “Jiwan ko Anandha” (soulful relaxation) experience through our activity.
Continuous work. The main problem of anything in this world is its sustainability. We started this as a project to support the women group and provide them with constant work so that their learned skills and techniques get admired by the people. But the current situation of the global market is bringing the biggest impact and the choices of people are also changing. We still want our women group to be worldwide recognized by their work. Knowing the taste of people has become difficult these days but we want to sustain by mapping the choice of people along with the proper use of skills.

CWB Nepal got started after a massive earthquake in 2015 as a voluntary act supporting the victims especially the women group who were first trained with the knit skills and now they have become professionals and are able to satisfy people with their learned skills in knitting and felting as well. Now the main motto of CWB Nepal is to make innovative products and fulfill the needs and demands of the people around the world by making beautiful products.

The products from our women group are their identity as they retain their culture and lifestyles too. The knitting and felting is their skill and they can make anything out of wools and felt.We have many designs and one can either try our products or tell us what you want. We are ready to make it. Also, we are trying and making food products that directly come from the home kitchens with a surety of a well-balanced diet.
